Purchasing our one-of-a-kind artisan merchandise will bring you much joy because not only does it look good, it also helps to provide hope and love to the people of Uganda.
Sweet Sleep’s beads are handcrafted by widows at an orphanage where our work in Uganda first began. Each bead is made from magazines and other printed materials, which are rolled and then sealed in a varnish coating.
Sweet Sleep’s proceeds from this merchandise go towards providing beds and mosquito nets for orphans in Uganda. Thanks to your support, more children will now sleep sweetly in a bed all their own and be protected from malaria. This mosquito-borne disease now kills more people in Uganda than HIV/Aids.
