2012 MISSION JOURNEYS
All trips listed below are open to the public but limited in space. Churches or groups listed by trip dates acknowledge groups reserving 8 or more spots. For information about planning a trip for your group, either open to others or closed to just your church or youth group, please contact Sweet Sleep.
Gulu, Uganda – February 10 – 21
Moldova – March 10 – 18 – Whitehouse, TX
Kampala – June 6–18 – Open
Gulu / Kampala, Uganda – July 20 – August 2 – First Baptist, Olney TX
Cost: $1400 - $1700 plus air
Team will be providing hundreds of beds kits to (probably) HIV+ children in northern Uganda. They will also be ministering to and sharing Bible stories to thousands of children, caretakers, and members of surrounding villages. From northern Uganda the team will then travel to Kampala and will be providing beds to children in an orphanage in Kampala. They will also be doing arts & crafts, leading Bible studies, and doing recreational activities with the children in the orphanage for the duration of the week.

Note: The per-person price includes: airfare, lodging, all in-country meals and transportation, travel insurance, etc. In addition, each team member is asked to raise $1,000 for beds which will be built on their trip.
